Unlike other methods of fat reduction, CoolSculpting involves no needles, surgery, or recovery time. Instead, a non-invasive applicator cools the treatment area and selectively freezes fat cells, which are more susceptible to cold than other cells in the body. These fat cells are painlessly and permanently destroyed. Starting several weeks after the procedure, these cooled fat cells begin to shrink and disappear. The body gradually metabolizes the cooled fat cells over the next few months, and the treated area shrinks in size.   

Real Results

A typical treatment lasts between two and three hours. Patients begin to notice an undeniable reduction of fat in the treated area within three weeks, but the most dramatic results are seen two to four months after treatment. A patient may request additional treatments for more pronounced effects.
